mixed media art journal - freaky funky

Hello there!
I have been really inspired with stencils lately, as you can see in my Works, because I just love the layers they create and i put them as much as possible. Paper Artsy blog issued its challenge where the theme is actually stencils and what are you doing with them? So, even though I have not used all techniques, I surely used lots of them in different ways. I also used Dylusions paints and some distress paints (also from Ranger) and lots of stencils...so check it out.

mixed media art journal page - a star is born

Hello there!
I have had this magazine pages for a quite a while and new what i wanted to do with them but over time, I forgot about it...After a big clean up in my hobby room, I found it and immediatley knew that the only thing what is missing is the background. And what would be the best are actually pages which I created with Gelli Arts printing plate. I added new Kaisercraft stamp On Stage, Simon Says Stamp stencil Stars, Wendy Vecchi stencil Funky Words and some text about Indian dances and that was it. Check it out!

mixed media art journal page - play

Hello there!
Another beautiful day to play in my art Journal and the name of this page is just what it is - PLAY.
Again, I used Mixed Media Inspiration Deck from Kiala Givehand for my background which is so colourful that somehow it looks live to me. Dylusions paints which i mixed together give me so vibrant and playful background and the only name which came to me was - play. I used so many words (written) and quotation which came to my mind and each and every one of them had play in sentence. This wonderful Donna Downey stencil completed everything. So check what I created.

mixed media art journal page - create

Hello there!
I had some time today and played with my art Journal again. I used Mixed Media Inspiration Deck from Kiala Givehand and made a page which I called CREATE. Again, lots of techniques and mixed media - I just fallowed cards. I can say that I am so satisfied with Dylusions paints - what ever I wanted to make with these colours, I did. Brayer which was standing aside such a long time finally came to my attention and now I am using it everywhere :) Lots of stenciling, again and finally some long sentences in my Journal with Sharpie. Hope you will like it!

mixed media art journal page - walls around us

Hello there!
I had actually a vision on my mind what kind of theme i would like to make today and some of techniques which i will use. I also wanted to test Dyan Reavely's new dylusions paints and I did. I cannot tell you how much I was delighted with those paints. How they blend is unbelievable. I highly recommend them. The colours which I used today were actually chosen by a chance. I knew i wanted green ones, and purple was added when i put my stencil, which was actually purple. My first reaction was "wow" so I knew I needed to proceed with it.
